Dietician told me you should eat small meals throughout the day or your insulin goes south?
Granted i dont really stuck to anything they told me anymore anyway lol.
Not the right thread for this, but a quickie:
Insulin spikes because of carbs (sugar) in food. Eating less carbs is a sure fire way to stop insulin spikes. Stretching the bad stuff (sugar) over a longer period doesn't seem like the right thing to do, it's just cheating the system.
If you have to eat carbs, and don't want to go LCHF, try eating foods that are low in GI. These foods will stretch the sugar release over a longer period, and will also help mitigate the insulin effect.
