i've heard it destroys your insulin levels?

Where did you hear that? It doesn't. It lowers insulin levels and resets insulin resistance.

https://blog.bulletproof.com/insulin-resistance/

“If you become very insulin resistant, then your insulin levels are up all the time, your body is always trying to shove the energy into the fat cells, and then you feel cold and tired and lousy. That’s the real problem. Resistance really depends on two things. It’s not simply the high levels, but it’s the persistence of those levels. What people have realized is that the insulin resistance, because it depends on those two things, a period of time where you can get your insulin levels very low is going to break that resistance because it breaks that persistence. Not simply the levels, but the persistence of those levels.”

Dietician told me you should eat small meals throughout the day or your insulin goes south?

Granted i dont really stuck to anything they told me anymore anyway lol.

Oh, goody. Today is International Happiness Day or, as other people call it, International Burger Day.

Well, no it's exactly the opposite of that. Constantly eating means your insulin is always being spiked, so your resistance goes up and you can't process glucose.

you cant spell ribs or steak ?

I'm more of a burger or pizza guy these days. I won't say no to a good steak or rack of ribs, but budgetary constraints have forced me to adapt. On a modest budget, especially if you make your own pizzas and burgers, you can still enjoy good food. For instance, I could make pulled pork sandwiches at about R40/kg, whereas a good steak would cost me at least twice as much.
