What's for lunch?

that looks scrumptious

I'm not lunching, just having a nibble

Some curry noodles from last night's braai and home made ginger beer for wash down.

Curry noodles
Only had macaroni but works fine
Cook the pasta and rinse.

Sauce:
Fry chopped up whole onion in ½cup olive oil
Add the following..
chopped up green pepper and sweet and tangy gherkins
½ - ¾ cup tomato sauce
dash of Worcester sauce
Heaped table spoon 11-in-1 curry spice
½cup water
2 teaspoon brown sugar
(some people add raisins as well)

Keep stirring

Add to pasta and mix through. Allow to cool down before placing in fridge. Ideally should be made the day before.

My tastebuds literally water up when I think of gruyere. The last time I had it was in 2012 when I made croque monsieurs.... I'm thinking the time is coming to revisit that recipe.

i know bro. but it looks kark.

question i should ask is... should one eat it melted on food, or what? cause some cheeses i know, like mozzarella, tasted like cardboard if you don't melt it first.

Have you ever tried Casu Marzu?? An acquired taste as far as cheeses go and not for everyone...
