Went to MooMoo's and had the Kobe Beef Burger (no bun) with bacon and cheese. Can't really say that I tasted a huge difference in the kobe beef... will have to go back and try the steak sometime (a bit expensive at R405)

The problem with the burger is that I'm sure they 'cut' the kobe beef with other cheaper cuts to reduce the cost. That's why I'm still keen to try the steak.

Kobe beef burgers sound like the biggest horsesh.t attempt to rip someone off. The entire point of kobe/wagyu is the fat content/marbling of the meat. Burgers are meat processed into a patty. Guess what you can do when you make a burger? Add as much fat as you want.

Very very doubtful. Seems the fraud that America went through is hitting our shores.

toasted cheese, onion and tomato.

i sliced a tomato this morning and dried each slice on a paper towel. popped them with the onions in a butter container and sprinkled some of the liquid smoke extract in the container with lemon juice. then assembled and toasted at the office. much nice. such taste.
