Its okay sized. Nothing fancy just a spar patty. But they are nice patties.think the picture angle made it look small

From my experience, smoking or cooking at a lower heat in an air-dominant method ie airfryer or oven.

RanzB is spot on, they were Airfried and probably 2min too long just for more colour.

one of the reasons i don't like to slow cook them...although the people in the states always have such lovely smoked sausages and i always wonder what kind of sausages they use...

Well, if you fry or braai it gets a brown colour. Don't boil it.
