i remember krugmans grill in the waterfront (they closed down now). If you bought a steak there they ask you if you want fat or not and then extra fat comes on the sides.

had a nice porterhouse steak bought at checkers that SHC , with mushroom sauce and chips

You sir have chosen the two i personally go to also however I do find that Arshaards cut the top piece of the breast off for their kebaabs. Vrek skelm lol

I like some of the meats they do - mostly the flank steak, which isn't easy to find, as well as their pork steaks. Plus they do a nice beef mince, with just the right amount of fat for burgers, for when I'm too lazy to grind my own.

The turkey came pre-coated with herbs and tasted awful.

i know most stores butcheries are supplied by different butchers

in CPT the chicken comes from county fair and the meat from another muslim distirbutor . so we know the meat is good

Thanksgiving dinner with family. Smoked a turkey on the Weber, with a butternut galette, cornbread sausage fennel bake, whipped horseradish potatoes, roasted broccoli and pickled shallots, and pecan brownies

Made a Watermelon Slushy type thing in the Nutribullet this morning with frozen watermelon, lime cordial, mint leaves and some honey.

That was awesome but I made way too much and then decided tonight his would work with alcohol of some kind.

Don’t have Vodka in the house and figured gin will do.

Off to Google and found what they call a Watermelon Gin Fizz which is gin, lime and ginger ale so close enough.

Ginger ale sounded a strange combo but since I have some figured why not.

It’s bloody magical. You wouldn’t have a clue there is a double shot of gin in this and wonder why you crawled out of the party.
