Cocked up the braised onions with the pan too low but otherwise magical.

And for dessert, lemon drizzle cake with apple pear compote. I was home today and I had rather too much time on my hands

Duck is my favourite meat. My bil used to own a duck farm in Stellies and we would get meat directly from him, that was amazing. And duck fat is phenomenal stuff man I'm jealous
Yeah I need to go pick up more.

Oh and the duck fat for the potatoes was rendered from the breast itself, not a separate jar of fat or anything.
