What's for supper - Second Course

Took a break from banting today.
Went to pride of India and had a range of different curries with garlic naan and rice, with lots of alcohol to accompany.
 
Baked hake with creamy mash and a butter bean leek white wine sauce. For dessert strawberry pie picked earlier at the farm.
 
This is DENNY'S sauce.

A packet of Durban Curry and Thai Green Curry.

I fried the chicken pieces (with two chopped onions) until done and then I added the 2 bags of sauce.

Was too babelas to go to a braai yesterday, so stayed at homr and made chicken wraps. Was cool.

Chicken, pineapple, feta, yellow pepper, tomato, lettuce and cross & Blackwell's Garlic & Herb Mayonnaise sauce.


Today I'm going to attempt to do "bees kook vleis" anyone got an address I can follow before i google for something?
 
Visited my family in joburg. Had an early braai of mutton kebabs with fulka and Dhanya chutney. And some chicken curry and rice. All very spicy.. Feeling it this morning :/
 
Going to have a second shot at making a decent risotto. This time it will be creamy mushroom with braised beef strips.
 
A ****ing salad.

I have the stuff in my fridge and it needs eating within the next couple of days otherwise it will go bad.

And I won't be home the next couple of evenings.

I've got a house warming tomorrow night, a BBQ on the beach with some colleagues on Wednesday and on Thursday some friends of mine have a fortnightly get-together ... and by Friday the salad material would have be soggy and unappetizing.

We should have gone to the beach this afternoon but the promotions with the circuit manager (deciding who passes and who needs more time) took longer than expected (actually some other school had issues. We were delayed because of them :mad:). All teachers have to be on stand by during this process if any query or issue comes up.

Didn't feel like cooking so I ordered a KFC Box meal. I've fallen off the Banting wagon and I've fallen hard
 
Had homemade pineapple ham pizza instead of risotto. Finally managed to convince 6 year old son that pizza was tasty food once I pointed out that everything inside the pizza was something he already liked.

Porterhouse pan fried topped with a mushroom and garlic sauce and served with a side of creamed spinach and beet root salad
