Did myself a little pot roast with a rump roast this evening.. was delicious.

Slow cooked loin ribs and chicken in the oven. No salad, don't tell the missus. Chicken was brined. Will check the bigger pieces today. Thinking of flattening and on the braai for chicken burgers. But I might be lazy and just buy KFC or depending on how the game goes drown my sorrows.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1418536290.226801.jpg

Last nights quinoa patties on freshly baked bread with some other burger-ish toppings :). Has some grilled and marinaded aubergine salad on the side.

This is DENNY'S sauce.

A packet of Durban Curry and Thai Green Curry.

I fried the chicken pieces (with two chopped onions) until done and then I added the 2 bags of sauce.

How was it

Probably about as good as it looks.

I bought another packet a couple of days later. 2 bags was a little but too much.

It tasted great. Like I said, it comes from a bag ... I added nothing to **** it up.

2 bags of identical flavour would have been fine if perhaps bland and overly saucey. 2 bags of contrasting flavours can only have resulted in a horrifying melange of unidentifiable gloop. Just the act of combining 2 different sauces is adding plenty.
