I don't want to know what your electricity costs are each month.

Something is cooking in your oven almost every evening.
Roughly r800/month electricity for the household. I think we're in a low tariff area.
 
Our oven doesn't work. Well, it does, but it cuts the power if you take it over 160C. Found out after we signed the lease :/

:D we have a flavour wave thingy that actually works very well, especially for roast chicken.

Using the sous vide tonight again to make a blushing rack of lamb, will finish it with my trusty blowtorch.

please stop talking about sous vide, i don't have money for that gadget :(
 
LOL I think the special would be out my price bracket as well... :(

You can try shorter cooks with a stovetop and pot of water, or a cooler box. But you need to make sure you have an accurate thermometer.
