Grilled watermelon salad to finish.

That feta cheese in the watermelon? I've had the two before I think - the watermelon wasn't grilled tho. What's the watermelon like after grilling? How long / bake /grill etc. did you do it?

It's feta, mint, a balsamic reduction and olive oil. The grilling I was very nervous about but it's effective - it caramelized the sugars and that combined with the balsamic creates a coating around the pieces.

I actually broiled them on the oven grill. It was maybe 5-10 minutes.

Finally remembered the reason I bought a sous-vide machine and bought some chuck steaks. Did them at 56C for 24 hours and finished them on a grill. Flavour was fantastic, and costs a lot less than rib-eyes. Can't believe I haven't done this sooner, feel so dumb.

Oh harsh. Have you been watching Trainspotting?

No, Frankie Boyle :D
