In a large skillet or pan heat cooking oil/olive oil over medium heat.
Add chopped or sliced onions/peppers of choice. Saute the onions
Add Chicken livers + spice/garlic, cook till it browns
Add any variety of Nandos sauces and let it simmer

It would probably be awesome on a bun. But no bread for me... Omelettes, coleslaw or maybe some form of low carb bread.

As for sauce: lots of apple cider vinegar, chilli & crushed pepper.

Yeah same as me, although I'll be off low-carb for my trip so I may as well just make the pulled pork buns.

Twas a humble little braai. Some veggies and baby potatoes. Dessert was ice cream, vanilla and chocolate. Accompanied by a few drams of Scotland's finest.

Scrambled eggs on toast.

This might sound like a simple meal but 99.9% of people cannot make proper scrambled eggs. Only restaurant I've ever had decent scrambled eggs in was at the royal in durban, topped with salmon.

You would think it would be so easy (which it is) but you always end up with this dry lumpy schite on your plate.

I think there's a famous chef out there that use ask new applicants to cook a plate of scrambled eggs.

^^, some people like their scrambled eggs hard...I don't understand it. I like it a bit smooshy still.

DJ's recipe for creamy scrambled eggs is the best I've tried where he used a bain-marie to do a very slow cook.

Found it here: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthr...rfect-scrambled-eggs?highlight=scrambled+eggs

The traditional way is so prevalent here I never attempted to try the less cooked, liquidy scrambled eggs. Now they're my favourite.

My favourite way of making scrambled eggs are in the microwave.

No butter or oil is needed.

I just add some milk (or cream if I have it) and whisk every 30 seconds so that it doesn't puff up and become dry.

I serve it just after it's not runny anymore.
