Looks freakin awesome !

Was indeed. We make it (pizza base) at least once a week.

I would've loved to add some chillies on there for kick but wife is 8 months pregnant and said no! From her previous pregnancy I learned that when she is that far along and says no, it means HELL NO!

At any other time of course 'no' is a Cosby no, meaning slip it in anyway and she won't notice till it's too late.

Of course yes. She actually likes it too.

And I don't add chillies to the point where it cleans the exhaust. Just to add some flavour and bit of spice.

Yea I also push the limits of the heat tolerance threshold of my wife and kids. I don't know if my wife will ever be able to take serious heat though, she's a bit of a wuss with spicy food.

Same here. Wife breaks a sweat very easily.

But in the beginning she would have none of the hot stuff. I slowly started adding some chilli flakes or chopped up Jalapeno to our regular dishes. Increasing it ever so slightly after a few times. But never to the point where it burns.

When her mother made similar dishes or if I made it with no extra spice she would quickly comment that something is different and it tastes bland. I only broke the news to her months later and now even she adds a little when she cooks.

But I must add. Mistakes have been made along the way. Like the time I tried adding 1 Habanero to our butter chicken instead of the 4 or 5 jalapeno I usually use. Should market that stuff as paint stripper.

This week I will have to make my own food. My family is gone on holiday. Any tips?
Stew.
Curry.
Fritatta.
Stir fry.
Roast veg.
Etc.

There are so many things you can make with what's in the fridge without much risk of it going wrong. Or at least it won't be so bad that you can't stomach it.

Bacon, cheese and jalapeño burger. Ed's Diner.

Then we went to Aroma Gelato and Waffle House for dessert.

Nutella, Amareno something something on the one.

Caramel peanut and the white Ferrero Roche on the other.
