You need to explain what s vichyssoise is.

A leek and potato soup. I was curious how it would taste with beef stock rather than chicken. It seems an odd choice.

My wife made a beef neck stew that cooked the whole day and drove me crazy downstairs while I was trying to work. Absolutely delicious.

It came out delicious.

Pardon the poor presentation and the photo quality.

2 bunches of leeks
1 Onion
1 bunch of spring onions
3 cloves of garlic
couple of grated potatoes.
Beef tongue stock
cream

Left over steak from last night.

Wanted to have it with crispy cheddar shells stuffed with guacamole (cannoli style)... Got a bit of a shock when I cut open the avos. :sick: Vrot, sies, ga!!!

So just had it with some coleslaw and beetroot chutney.

Looks great apoc. I made a kiev stuffed with spinach bacon mushroom cream stuff with a basil tomato sauce. Too hectic this evening to get a pic.
