Nice!
You at a restaurant?
Edit: Assuming you are by the stuff on the table. Thought maybe you were at someone's house & home-cooked meal.

Yeah at a restaurant in the Hilton.

I do want to find out about a cooking class on the weekend though.

Here for four weeks so will have time to get around.

You're excused this once.
You better get out on the street for the next meal you post :p.
Sounds cool - you there for work or doing some leisurely travelling?

Unfortunately for work and I got back quite late tonight and suspect I will be every week night so I'm happy to check out the entire hotel menu for now.

On the weekend I can go explore and have a few in my sights including ones Anthony Bourdain visited when he was here.

Lunch was at Subway which is sacrilege I know but they accept cards. Drew some cash to check out the Eastern Bazaar type thing close to the office.

Also left my swimming pants at home somehow so will need to procure some of those to enjoy the pool. Or take the shorts I have with me and see how many looks I get. :)

As for me, it's the fiancee's birthday tomorrow so we're off to camp in the Midlands this weekend. We've got a few friends joining us from Friday and we'll be catering the dinners for Friday and Saturday. Thursday night braai, Friday night mutton curry potjie (possibly bunnies if we can get someone to bring up unsliced bread) and Saturday I'll be doing a pulled pork on the Weber with freshly made soft flour tortillas.

Was an amazing weekend

Started a shoulder early midday on Saturday for pulled pork with coleslaw and BBQ sauce.

Is it actual tents?

Normally yes, but we found a chilled site that takes dogs and also has caravans/cabins to rent so we went there. We ended just staying in the cabin and the others put up tents around us.

Please tell me that that bottle in the bottom right of the pic is not what I think it is...

It was a specific request from the birthday girl and featured in exactly one pulled pork roll.

When they said "American" strip loin I expected it to be huge.

But it was very good regardless.

The sushi was great make no mistake, especially the crab which is fresh.

But by far the winner were the chickpea fries I've never even considered as a concept.
