Sweet and Sour pork arter a whole day in the slow cooker, and some braised cabbage.
The way you plate with things in their own corner.
Put that goodness into a bowl and grab some chopsticks.
Looks very delicious.

Didn't want to start a new thread but I want to ask the cooking experts here if they know why my pots are, all of a sudden, going black on my gas job.
I've been using these pots for years.

I'm not a cooking expert! But I assume it's burning differently. Maybe the gas is not clean. Or you have a leak and sucking in air or something somewhere? No idea.

So not worth if if you own a [decent] oven?

Basically what the article says yes.

But personally I have to disagree. We use the air fryer for at least 50% of our weekly meals. And especially for the kids. The convenience of frozen to crispy fries in 7min is great. Chicken nuggets, bacon bits, fish fingers, etc... all without any pre-heating or prep required.

For ourselves we make great pork chops, eisbein and even a decent medium rare steak in no time at all. Not even to mention chicken wings and drums. Crispy crispy skin and succulent meat.

I do concur the capacity is a limiting factor but you work around it and it can actually force you to up your veggie intake.

Each to their own I guess. I love mine.

It's basically a miniature convection oven, with barely enough space to fit a decent sized chicken and - from the looks of it - quite poor crisping. It's really not frying anything and I'm not sure what purpose it's meant to serve.

Fair enough - I've got a convection oven so put the money towards something else.

Loaded!!

Underneath all the fatty goodness of the pork and cheese is chunks of roasted cauliflower.
