What is your electricity bill like?

Sous vide uses a PID controller with a temperature check. It isn't constantly heating anything so it usually a lot less energy than you would think.

Last year I was running my (outdated) oven often due to baking bread and roasting and my bill was a lot higher.

Damn looks good.

The curry is real simple. A bit sweet because of the honey but it's essentially just curry powder and coconut milk
