Looks orange as butter chicken to me.

If it’s red like a tomato I’d probably never be able to eat it because that would be way too acidic.

Cream makes it orange.
Fair enough. If I didn't read the description I'd have assumed it was butternut soup.
 
Making some mince for homemade nachos. The Chinese is particular.

Did you buy very ripe tomatoes or get them a week ago and ripen at home?

Not sure what the local greengrocers do with their over ripe because they never have them - only what they all call "champagne colour" :laugh:

I would call them normally ripe I guess.

Been in the fridge a few days but arrived ripe.

They were all pretty fresh and resistant to cutting.
