hehe, braaibak actually yielded some results on a google image search while hotel pan did not

Read one of the pages wrt braaibak and they say it's actually a old vintage aluminium roasting pan so I googled that and found plenty of images.

I made a chicken stew in mine the other night. some 1/4 onions, chicken breasts and drumsticks, 250ml white wine, some whole veggies, spices (chilli included) and some cream.
