trout ??
that is a bone festival

family of mine in the eastern transvaal have trout farms and are always wanting to send me the damn things.

Trout tastes awesome though but once you find a good ummm holding of the bones you can take chunks out at a times

The nibbles of it I have managed to take have indeed been good.
But I really don't have the inclination to turn a trout dinner into an all day event in order to remove it's bones- then choke on the last one that I missed.

I'm much more of a Sole person :D

Smoked trout, deboned. Just chop, warm through in sauce, toss in linguine...

Trout is an easy fish to debone, a few strategic cuts with a sharp knife will reward you with boneless fillet in no time.

Lemon & Herb Chicken "Flatty", smoked in the kettle braai, with a Strawberry, avo and cashew nut salad served as the side dish.

Lasagna - my own version which according to friends and family is the best they have ever tasted.

I'll post some pics and a full recipe guide for it tomorrow...

Salami and peppadew pizza with cherry tomatoes, basil and rocket and a side salad.
