Fillet steak with a cream, brandy and English mustard sauce for me after 2 consecutive evenings on oatmeal.

So after the meet I wanted some meat so bought me steak from fruit n veg

rump made on the cast iron hotwheel with mushroom sauce and garlic roll. 1st time i tried baked sweet potato and was so good

@fanie the grill was not too hot the 1st time so didnt get the lines and meat done 100% ...wanted it little more done but was very good

so i took another pieces and made the grill very hot ...and furking hell that steak was good

i didnt know how how the grill needed to be ..now i know

different ball game ...that taste is something else

but that cast iron needs to be extremely hot

i saw little smoke coming off and was a little hot ...and put the meat on

wasnt that hot

but then tried again and furking hell what a steak

Yeh, you should let it go for about 3-4 minutes first so it warms up, also try and get your steak so close as possible to room temp. And remember, the more you practice the better you get :D

i wasnt sure about the gas

i opened it and then it made those noises so kept it low

the 2nd time it didnt make the noise so i know it can go higher

LOL noooo! it must be nice and noisy. The flames should just fall short from creeping out the side.

Dude, are those cape rock lobster or actual crayfish (huge difference) because if it's lobster, those tails don't look to be of legal size.

eish i dont know ..someone gave it to me and i dont know the actual difference

and those tails are cut in half

it was small though

To me it looks like lobster (crayfish are freshwater species). Next time, ask the guy you got it from.
