Had 40 cloves of garlic chicken

So so good

The parsley and thyme was strong and garlic not so much but not overpowering

Chicken was soft and very tasty

But that sauce I sat with a roll as well so so good

MacDonald's. Double Quarter Pounder with cheese and fries and juice.

I was in the city of Cape Town and McD was the first establishment that was noticeable when the time came. Time was short so options were few.

But that was a sort of a belated lunch (3 o'clock I think it was). My supper was a bottle of red wine and some biscuits and cheese at a friend's house

Looks good, but where's the garlic? Only thing I do differently is thicken the sauce by reduction a bit, I don't like it runny.

What substitute did you make for the wine?

Mutton rogan josh with caulirice.

Would you mind sharing that creamed broccoli recipe you've done a couple of times? We're having guests over and it'll go nicely with a fish pie I want to cook.
Steam the broccoli, reduce the cream, add the cheese, season. According to the fiancée.

Spaghetti and mince tonight. Might not sound that great, but it'll do

Went for a family member's 50th in the Blue Crane in Stellenbosch. I had beef bourguignon but it was a mediocre beef stew with no wine, watery mash, un-peeled shallots and half a thyme bush.

LOL! :D

I bet that slop cost a packet too.
