and ?

i want to try risotto but i have never tasted it before

and well its a cooks nightmare according to most chefs

Slightly undercooked and lacked creaminess but the flavour was good. First time trying a risotto though so I want to get it right. It's not a nightmare to cook, it just needs a lot of attention.

atleast you enjoyed

I have Gordon Ramsay's voice in my head though :(

Pizza. Regina and Hawaiian. Force into do take outs by power black out. I am craving vegetables at the mo.

MrsC made a chicken cream mushroom thing last night, very nice indeed.

I have it in my head to make enchiladas from scratch. The only sticking point is the difficulty of obtaining real Masa Harina here if I wanted to do corn tortillas. But I've made flour tortillas before and they came out pretty well so maybe I'll just do that. And maybe do a roasted green chili sauce along with... mmm

love making Mexican. damn need to make that pork shoulder. so much to do with it. never done any sauces and such. time to go exploring I guess.

Alright my soul can't find rest till it's made enchiladas tonight. Will post results.

Went to Machics in Pretoria East for a beef espetada and a Kilkenny draught. Then popped in at Hooters for some wings and whiskey..

Smoked wings and creamy cheese broccoli.

Looks so good.

Not going to have time tonight to do what I want, which has expanded rapidly into a 4 dish meal and the works, so I'll have to leave the Mexican till Thursday and do something easy tonight.
