Whats going on with Afrihost tonight?

Can't stream Youtube or NasaTV on my CAPPED 10M line tonight, this is really unacceptable!

When I switch to my backup account everything is working perfect.

Come on Afrihost, sort out your issues!

Must be an IOS update, no wait that was September... um, no it's congestion, hang on it's the IPC - needs an upgrade, oh wait that's been done... optimizing! That's it! They're optimizing the shaping firmware that doesn't ever shape you on capped/business, because they don't shape, ever, promise. Except now the shaping software (that they don't under any circumstances use) is broken... for going on a week. But never fear, all is not lost, now you can buy Afrihost+ so that you can get 128kbps after your cap is reached. Woohoo!! Such goodness. What pure internet joy - in fact, some lucky users are apparently getting up to 10% of their line speed. What more could you ask for??

Don't let Garyvdh see this, he might just give you a stern talking to. Apparently we're not allowed to call AH out on their bull**** in this forum.

Oh boohoo. You get angry consumers and then you get pointless whining brats. I'll leave it up to you to figure out which camp you fall into.
 
*sigh* it's all gone pear-shaped. Terrible connection tonight ...thought time to put the backup WebAfrica account into use and it all went well for the 1st hour or so, then it got ****ty too. There's just no winning.

Getting chewed out by Mr Cut n Paste himself twice in one night is a new record for me. Two comments about them lying and I'm a whining brat? Lol. I wonder what you think of those people that genuinely do moan about AH in the threads ALL day?
