If you're looking for a car that'll still be worth something after you drive it off he showroom floor, the Honda Jazz, VW Polo and Mini Cooper are your best bets. Quality wise the Honda and the Mini are superb, the Jazz is a bit of a mom's taxi tho'.

The Fiat is a really nice car, but resale value is ridiculously low. And Alfa... sadly you may as well go flush your hard earned money.

That said, if anyone sees an Alfa Brera on sale for a good price, let me know! It's like dating a supermodel... you know it's a bad idea, but she's too beautiful for you to think clearly.

Then whyd you ask for a "super" mini?
A supermini is a British car classification term that describes automobiles larger than a city car but smaller than a small family car. Actually. Not a sports mini.

ha ha! sorry for the "SUPER" confusion. the jazz is really comfortable but the exterrior draws me away a bit. it looks like a TOY!!! the 1.4 produces 73kw, thats pretty impressive. anyone have comments about the suzuki swift or maybe the ford fiesta?

1) Abarth 500 (99 kW factory upgradeable to 118 kW)
2) Mini Cooper S (128kW)
3) Opel Corsa OPC (143 kW)
4) Ford Fiesta ST (136 kW)

All these cars shine in a certain area imho, the 500 is tiny yet powerful, same for the Mini (bit dated now but still good), the Corsa is very powerful and aggressive (I love torque steer for some reason, it makes it so much fun to drive), Fiesta is a awesome drive. Everyday driver the Fiesta, city the 500, Corsa for a weekend toy and the Mini sadly being a bit dated would be my last choice but it's still good. Honda Jazz doesn't match up to these imho but if it wasn't so ugly and they put a nice 1600 high-rev V-Tec motor in there I'll rethink my opinion.

VW polo doesn't really shine in any one category, it's the all-rounder, not really my type of car, I like car with some personality.

they've been around for about 100 years and they're still racing the streets thinking they're boss:cool:

Would the golf 6 fall under small car? Or is that a bit too big? That car has a 1400 Turbocharged, supercharged engine with about 120kW of power. It must be pretty fuel efficient too
