Hi,

My pc on start up gives me an unusual msg : warning cpu has changed or overclocked! press f1 to continue or del for set up .....what the hell does that mean ??? i guess its something bad huh ??? it started after i added a new primary hdd...and tried to instal an external drive (that didnt work) the external drive only picked up for a few seconds then vanished ... so what does this error mean and is there anything i can do to fix it ?

Dude, wish I could help, but im clueless, try to pm the techie;)

yeah i managed to sort that out :) ...all i did was go into cmos and then just exit with saving ...that worked dont get the error any more BUT now my pc is freezing after a while :( i've spent sooo much moola on this thing so far dont wanna spend any more just want it too work ...it just freezes in mid operation and stays stuck, i also notice its extremely slow now ....was very fast when i first bought it a month ago...here's the specs amd 2000+ 1.65ghz 2.5gig ram, nvidia 4 4400 graphics card...i added a external hard drive last night ...could that be the problem ? the external hdd works fine but not sure if its affecting the normal speed of the pc or something ....any ideas on what it could be ????????

What motherboard?
Just load optimal/default settings and you're safe/sorted out.
As for the freezing, eliminate components 1 by 1.
