What's up with MWeb offer ?

Why are MWeb punting their 3 Gigs for R79 so much when you can get 1 Gig for R19 from Openweb & Axxess ? ... which equates to R57 for 3 Gigs.

There might be other ISP's out there offering similar deals which beat MWeb's offer & would be keen to know who they are, if anyone knows ?

I can only put it down to the ignorant, they're after.

Any other reasons ?

you can get 4gb for R58 from afrihost when they have their 2 for 1 specials ... i use that when my uncapped is slow.

if your cpt, you get sat-3 bandwidth, for 79 for 3gig sat-3 bandwidth is cheap, other wise it is tad exspensive

they punting it, because they dropped there price. If you sold banana's for R10, and now you selling them for R5... you PUNT it.

If you're in cape town you have ipc there. IS bw is fine if you're in jhb, but if you're in ct and want to play games on ct servers you route through jhb which adds about 50ms round trip. I get a 25ms ping to ct servers (based in ct) on mweb and an 75ms ping if I use my IS account. That 50ms does help... Ping to jhb is more or less the same on mweb and IS. And then of course as hereticangel pointed out, you have sat-3 connectivity which is in turn backed up by the SAFE cable...
