What's with the Hellman's Mayo shortage?

Agreed, Hellmans is my favourite. Found some in my local spar, after not having any for a few weeks. Yes!

My father in law was raving about this awesome mayo that he grew up with. Walked into a Checkers, saw it on the shelf and thought I would try it out.

Got to the till and its R90 for a jar that costs like R30 for any other mayo. Even till lady was like "Yo, yo, yo too much money for this one!" Its nice and everything, definitely smoother texture when compared to other mayo brands but not worth the cost differential over other brands IMO

Wellingtons' Seriously Good Mayonaise ... that's the one I was talking about earlier, and it has my stamp of approval (for only like R20 too, you could get three and still have change for the price of that Hellmans white gold lol).

Woolworths mayo is pretty good if you can't find hellmans, although I'm sure all the stores will have it in abundance because they are on a huge advertising campaign at the moment.
