Also stop sleeping at traffic lights. People don't hoot at 0.2 seconds. They hoot because the light is green and you're not moving.
 
i dont wear belt because it rubs my nipples and gives me an erection. Also I cant get out the car fast enough to kick the hell out of someone who cant mind their own business and complain about my seatbelt habbits.

Because people are selfish, inconsiderate and have an inflated sense of self-importance.

Apparently considering whether your actions might negatively affect those around you is beyond most people.

Or maybe there is something in the water that prevents the average South African from developing theory of mind and we are surrounded by people who behave essentially like high-functioning autists.

If I can Keep left and pass right, what makes you so important? People are just selfish freaks!
 
Fact is MANY South Africans do not understand the laws of the road.
A big part of this is them buying their licenses
We've had several occasions where a driver comes with a code 14 license but struggles to start the truck.
 
On the seat belt issue
If there's a crash you become a potential projectile, anything can happen

People not wearing seatbelts in the back seat can critically injure those in the front of the same vehicle in an accident

 
Funny enough, people in my area is mostly wearing them. Though cellphone texting might be a problem, though. Can't remember when last I saw someone watching the road, instead of watching a mobile screen.

Also, they cannot maintain control of their car as they are maneuvering hard.
Also, my tax money/medical aid subs goes into trying removing steering wheels from dense people's skulls.

For me the worst is when their children are bouncing around on the seats or standing on the seat with hands on the dashboard...
 
What gets me, I know some one that uses a "clip" so the seat belt doesn't sit firmly and is loose around them. that really makes the seat belt useless. But they dont listen to reason..
 
Err if you think other people not wearing seatbelts cannot affect you then maybe watch some YouTube

And should also be barred from taxpayer funded hospitals and have their medical aid premiums increased.
