What is the 1980s
Yup and than it's funny when I heard a Natalian tell me that GP drivers are bad
I agree with this. Not wearing a seatbelt does not endanger the lifes of others. If you don't do it and win a Darwin award it's your own problem. People not wearing a seatbelt shouldn't even get a fine.
Oh yeah noticed thatThey're only bad cos we've gotten used to expecting the worst from drivers, and then GP guys come and fsck that up by not always doing the worst thing possible.![]()
You simply overtake if/when safe to do so. Why let someone else ruin your day when they're not even approaching breaking any laws?I know that it's just very annoying sitting behind someone on a road with a speed limit of 100 and they are creeping along at 40 looking at the trees
This is a South African thing. Due to South African drivers being arrogant c**ts. I spend a feww weeks a year in Gainesville and Miami. Florida a year and people there do not drive like us. Yes there are some that act like asses but not on the scale of South African tardsI'd like to add, why is it that the drivers on William Nichol think it's okay that they block intersections? I was coming out Sloane last week and couldn't actually turn right because the intersection was blocked and it's not like it's a once off thing it's consistent.
Than by the offramp heading towards Roodepoort side they block the intersection again so no one can go straight? WTF!!! I'm all for this demerit system if they could actually have police on the road policing this, because that would be about 400 people already fined and demerited.
As to the first bolded part- Agreed, and more importantly, what I would like to know is why there are people that allow this behaviour? This, more than most other things, irks me no end. Stop being an enabler.
Yes there are enablers, they don't seem to have a problem with these morons that push in. They are part of the problem.
As for the second- Why are there people who are not paying attention and going on green? Especially when you have large intersections where the lights (usually not in the direction you're going, thanks to Murphy) switch really fast and the timing is asymmetric.
I have seen people take 5-6 seconds to get going and the cars behind just go along with it but then there are sometimes those cretins (mostly taxi drivers) that can't get pat half a second.
In general, people are stupid and can't drive for ****.
I guess we could blame plastic.. it’s everywhere and I guess along with other factors of entitlement and the now culture we have brainless idiots on the road.
