WhatsApp launches instant video button

WhatsApp has started rolling out a new feature that lets users quickly send short video clips similar to how they would send voice notes.

The instant video messages feature allows users to record and share round videos up to 60 seconds long by holding a button available directly in their one-to-one or group chat window.

Thank god...don't know how i survive without it so long by not using whatsapp.

Anyways...its just to get permission to the camera. Now zuck will have access to the mic, camera, files, phone, gps, contacts, messages...and counting

Users previously first had to select the camera button and switch to video mode, do the recording, and then hit send to share video that was not captured outside the app.

or just hold in the snap buttom ... it automatically records a video

Fark the video notes, since the middle of last week my chats are out of order - flipping irritating that I have to scroll to find the random places WA is now filing them

I had this kak where opening a chat would expand the keyboard, then having to minimize it before being able to scroll through my chat. S23+. At least it seems fixed again.
