Whatsapp backup on Iphone WITHOUT Icloud, possible?

Why is iCloud off? Via MDM? So then go ask the administrator of the MDM platform how to fix it.

Quite likely the same idiot who turned it off is the same idiot who made it impossible to restore from a backup.

Tbh I have more questions, if iCloud is off then how are back ups normally done lol

Going to bet no backups because "security" and automatic remote wipe enabled as well as on wrong PIN code 10 times.

We'll just ignore why WhatsApp is on their "work" phones to start with and why they now need to get their personal data onto the new one.

wont be turned on, ever forgetabouit...

dont honestly care, just wanted to find another way, other than Icloud to do whatsapp backups,
if its not possible, well then Dog turds have more functionality than this expensive trash.

android has so many options to do the same thing, Google drive, export to file, Bluetooth, hell even export to file.

idiotphone is just an idiotphone. good paperweight or in my case Hotspot for my samsung.

Amazing how you blame the phone when your problems are caused by your own MDM.

And the MDM is likely the reason none of this works. If they blocked iCloud for security then it's not at all unreasonable to think they would block backup/restores as well in an effort to limit data leaks.

GO TALK TO YOUR OWN PEOPLE.

Likely exactly the reason why they issue iPhones instead of Android garbage in the first place.

Willing to bet they've disabled Migration Assistant and/or Airdrop which is why the transfer doesn't work. Killed backups/restores which is why that doesn't work either.

It seems like everything is working as planned, but nobody bothered to inform you fully.

correct you are policies enforced via MDM,
and that is the reason they buy idiotphones for work, but problem is now how to transfer everything Without the use of icloud.

all I will tell them is do things the old fashioned way with loading everything by hand,
