WhatsApp group calling tested

I should have just said an antique in phone terms ;)

Edit

Actually...

Google Nexus One, first released January 5, 2010 with 512MB RAM

HTC Desire, first released 16 February 2010 with 576MB RAM

Yeah, but mid-2012 was when the mid-range phones finally got 1GB RAM (E.g. I had the LG Optimus L9, which was actually pretty good considering its price).

Lots got the P7 instead though: https://www.gsmarena.com/lg_optimus_l7_p700-4565.php with 512MB RAM as L9 was considered phablet territory, lol. Again, at the time everyone had such a mix and match of phones, even Blackberry still existed, seems phone market have become more homogeneous than they used to be.

How did you measure 256MB RAM usage, and you do understand how RAM usage on android works, right?

~2012. :p
You can be confused (as usual), but you mustn't confuse others.

The first thing, I don't know how you got 256MB RAM usage.

Secondly it is is not Android, it is iOS 7 device,

Finally I don't have to prove anything, but I can make the video how long takes Whatsapp to answer a call (if you don't understand English words). It will be 35 second video. ;)

It is nice to have something like this, but over past 3 years size of the Whatsapp increased 5 times, so I prefer a smaller app, which loads faster. When someone place a call, I have to wait 30 second before I can answer a call.

:wtf: do you mean by that ?

We will never get proof of this from this clown :wtf:

Any other Iphone fanboys have this issue?

Sorry, 250, habit due to 2^8.
It does. The phone has 512MB RAM for everything, but Whatsapp needs 200MB just to answer incoming call.
Secondly it is is not Android, it is iOS 7 device,
Then seriously, how did you get the RAM usage? And again, how did you calculate it? Also, how much media was in that group? Etc.

You made the claim though, so as usual it's bull****.

As Dave said, iPhone 4? A phone discontinued 7 years ago, for which apple dropped support in iOS 7? Your cheapest budget phones are probably stronger than it.
So, iPhone 4?

2010, as I said

(now where’s the emoji pulling a tongue)

:p

Yeah, didn't think people would still use a 2010 phone, but sajunky's gotta prove us all wrong (not a good thing in every one of his cases).
As a dev, I also would drop support for it, less than a 1% share (https://david-smith.org/iosversionstats/) of a 14% share, so a 0.14% edge case where supporting it would probably harm it for everyone else.
