This Whatsapp calls. Anyone know how much data it uses?
Cheaper than calls I suppose? (Obviously via WIFI and not Data bundles)
Its bascially free on wifi if your line is uncapped
SMS still beats all other mediums because it's the only tech you can send an important message and know with certainty it will reach the other side, and if not, you can find out exactly why not.

Yeah right.
mmm think it is between 400kb and 1 meg per minute. If on 3G, it would depend on how big your bundle is and how much it cost, as in most cases the bigger the bundle, the lower the in bundle rate and therefore the cheaper your data consuming whatsapp call will be.
The only SMS's I receive is OTP and Spam.
Actually, pushing it pretty hard and it's growing quite nicely in uptake.Something the operators do support is RCS. Vodafone have the "Message+" client for this.

They obviously do not push for this, as they make more money from traditional SMS, but this strategy might come back to haunt them.
Last time I checked I had 1600/1600 sms remaining....I only send SMS' because I get it on my package, 200 of them, so I waste them away.

Just be careful, there are a few fake WhatsApp calling apps making the rounds, make sure your wife doesn't install one of those
I would have as many if I wasn't replying with STOP and **** OFF so much.
