WhatsApp price increase on Cell C

Think it will be acceptable up to R10, considering the rand/dollar etc.
Still good value for money.
 
Totally unacceptable. There goes the R2 I would tip a car guard with, if I tipped car guards and were a CellC subscriber.
 
Its a service-type restricted data bundle, thats all.

What does rand/dollar have to do with it? Its not like they are paying for the service from an overseas agent, its an OTT service.

This is no different than increasing normal data bundles. This was a marketing strategy, go in low, get customers and then slowly increase.
 
Still very cheap,increased from last month already though and they did send out sms's to me informing me of the increase.

I have this activated as a recurring bundle as it's pretty useful,the usage includes pictures and videos downloaded/sent via whatsapp,only calls are not included.
 
so what happens if you call on whatsapp? does it just run as data?

how much whatsapp must you use for this to make a difference?
