WhatsApp getting major photo and video sharing update

WhatsApp will increase the number of media items users can share in a single message by over three times the current limit.

WABetaInfo reports that the latest Android beta update of the popular chat app allows some of its users to send up to 100 videos, images, or other media at a time.

As long as it’s only some users? If all users are allowed to send multiple videos and photos I think it would be chaos. Imagine getting a barrage of videos and photos that you don’t want,

You can already turn off automatic download and saving to gallery.

How about they don't compress the photos to hell and back when you send them to someone.

Attach them as a document then it won't compress. I personally don't need or want the majority of images to be less compressed as I don't do anything with them beyond looking at them on the phone screen.

Send them as a "document". Nothing is compressed that way.
Not the same though as it doesn't view or open the same as an image. Neither does it share the same to whatsapp. You have to go into WhatsApp and attach as file.

However, they are working on making it possible to share an image uncompressed.
