I was using WhatsApp normally, I wasn't taking photos to send to people or anything like that, and yet I got a notification saying that WhatsApp was detected using camera permissions. Should I be worried? Is this happening to anyone else? (I have the latest version of Android on a note 9 if that's important)
What can I do to stop this from happening again, other than completely disabling camera permissions?

did you check the permissions required upon installation. andorid apps ask for crazy permissions.one area where i prefer ios. you have to grant an app permission. it gets installed with no special permissions initially.

Jesus...the schit people worry about....

Maybe stop taking naked selfies, then one doesn't have to worry about your dickpicks appearing on your WhatsApp profile...or whatever it is you're worrying about.

You probably just swiped right on your chat screen a tiny bit which would have started the Watsapp camera for a second.

Like this

See on the left its been moved just a tiny bit but the camera is already running, this happens if you swipe anything but 100% 90 degrees up, I noticed it because my camera makes a audible click when its turned on
