Wheel hunting!

Hi all,

I am looking for a wheel (standard that comes with the vehicle) for a Ford Bantam 1.3i XL 2009.

My spare wheel was stolen a while back so I need to replace it ASAP.
I've tried a couple places to find a wheel but they don't have.

We are trying to find a good condition 2nd hand one, failing that obviously, we have to get a new one, but I really would like to find a good condition 2nd hand one.

For those who don't know what exactly I'm looking for, see picture below.

FYI: doesn't specifically need to come with or have a tyre on but if it does, cool!

Any places in Cape Town that I can try, let me know (maybe with numbers)

I've tried Gumtree, Junkmail, CapeAds, no replies from my wanted ads.

No, the actual wheel... lol... I know the arrow points to the hub cap, but it's the actual wheel we want, wheel, rim, whatever you call it :)
 
Ok someone at my old work ramped their Bantam onto the pavement fusking up the rim and it was R450 for a new one from the Ford dealership. You need to chain up the spare wheels as they are easy to steal on bantams.

Just been told now that it's not referred to as a wheel, it's called a RIM.

See you learn something new everyday.

Barloworld Armstrong N1 City do not supply a tyre with the rim - for those who are interested.

I called all those guys and am in the process of going through the yellow pages - no luck, no one has it at all :(
 
Eish man, there is lotsa scrap yards in CPT. Does your spare rim need to look the same as the others, or do you not mind a normal steel rim?
Finding the exact one as the others would be hard, but just getting a normal steel rim with the same PCD should not be a problem.

No worries , hope you come right.
I spend most of my life on gumtree in the car section (looking for a project car) so if you find something dredge up this thread, otherwise i will keep a lookout for you.

Nah, so long it fits and is correct, I don't mind, it can even be 2nd hand, but so long it's in good condition.
 
Hi!

I did find one eventually.
Went to "Ford Cortina Centre" in Brooklyn.

Got a rim and tyre (both in great condition) for R300.
