I was part of the initial roll-out and within 3 days they had 180k members. Stability was an issue, as you can imagine and they modem racks simply couldn't cope with the demand. There's a reason I brought this to light, and that's cause a large majority of the users on this forum (who think they're the only internet users in South Africa) have 5year old mentality and it won't be long before uncapped ADSL isn't good enough anymore and people bitch & moan about R300 they need to pay for it. IT doesn't matter where the ISP's get the money to build & maintain their infrastructure, since "the rest of the world already has product ABC for free!"
