When will iBurst reduce prices or increase caps?

I've just reached my cap limit and went to speed test to see how fast my con is running. I think my speed are quite decent considering that im being throttled

I can dl a 800mb movie in 12mins according to speedtest.net If only this was true :P

Jannie can you give us some idea of what kind of changes that we can expect. I'd rather be disappointed now than be disappointed in the future.

In other countries that would sound so stupid but living with some of the service we get here, I understand the statement perfectly.

Always expect the worst, at least that way you cannot be dissapointed.

:)

Heh - for free, you get the unformatted block of text, when we sign the consultancy agreement, I commit to putting it on a fancy powerpoint slideshow - with sounds and animations (depending on my hourly rate).

There's a book by Nagle entitled "Strategic Pricing" which is really worth a read.

And here is me thinking ho wyou guys did it, oh this other company charges this, lets just drop our price by 10cents and charge them that.............

*sigh* Looks like it's gonna be another month of R199/gig Boosters... eish!

What on earth makes you think iBurst will drop their prices before they need to pay bonuses?

You have better chance of falling pregnant buddy. Sad, but it's true.

And we wait and wait.

Telkom line installation vs iBurst doing something reasonable for prices/boosters.....

And we'll wait some more because I-Boss still stinks and I-Burst don't care.

Why are we waiting, Why are we waiting, Why are we waiting, Why are we waiting,
Why are we waiting, Why are we waiting, Why are we waiting, Why are we waiting,
Why are we waiting, Why are we waiting, Why are we waiting, Why are we waiting,...etc

New products for business So why can us normal users get some new products. I mean if iboss is stable enough for the implementation of new products for business then why not for normal users or have I missed something? It was about for moths ago that we were told we'd see change SOON wasn't it? Then Jannie asked for 100 day. We were ok with that but the 100 days passed quite a while ago. I just want a simple and straight forward answer as to whither or not we'll be seeing any new products/changes orhave we just been told this so we wouldn't leave?

Simple straight forward answer please.

Will the new offering not fall under the iBurst Business umbrella rather than the iBurst we deal with (iBurst Wireless?)?

To be honest, I have given up. If the business development managers or whatever their product development guys are called are so f*n retarded that they cant take a thread full of good idea's and put some of them into practice in 100 days then there is no hope.

I get the feeling big daddy vodacom has told them to slowly roll back their consumer offering as it competes too often with their 3g offering. "Go son and deal with the SME market I will handle large corporates and the retail one's and together we will milk the market".

As it currently stands the only reason to get Iburst is if you have no ADSL availability and as telkom expands their network that market is going to shrink and shrink.

If you need ideas on how to roll out new profitable products on your retail platform feel free to give me a buzz I will happily sit at your offices and give you ideas on network profitability optimization.
