When will iBurst reduce prices or increase caps?

The best way is to vote with your wallet. Unfortunately, my complex doesn't have any telephone lines so I'm stuck saying R200 per gb. Would go to ADSL in a heartbeat if I could but will do in my next house.

Check to see if Screamer has Wimax in your area....

Wimax would be the way to go, if you can't get ADSL in your area.

I emailed Screamer to check if Wimax is covered in my area. (Waiting for a response).

I checked their website, my Suburb doesn't show.

ADSL is available in my Suburb, so if iBurst doesn't drop prices soon.

ADSL in January for me...:p

I see according to Screamer, Cape Town doesn't exist anymore:confused:
 
The grass is not always greener on the other side. I know people complaining who are on Screamer with constant disconnects on online applications and gaming ever 15-30 min, latency issues, bad support, you name it.

Email them and ask if your suburb/area is covered in CT. (Strange that it doesn't cover CT)

Forgot to add, if you get ADSL, sell the iBurst modem and that should cover the installation costs and a bit leftover for the telkom modem/router.

True, after this news, the iBurst modem is gonna be like the Betamax VCR.

Hopefully there will still be enough ignorant people out there to buy it.

So do I, I really do hope they offer some bigger caps / lower prices soon...

I'll stick around till end December and see what happens. After that if no changes are made I'll probably go the ADSL route myself.

It seems to me iBoss is working. Last month during the evening i always disconnect and reconnect and almost always i get unthrottled. This month is a different story.

The only thing that keeps me with iburst seems to be down the drain!

Hey Mate

If your Uncle finds away out plz let me know, no way in hell iam staying with iburst for another year. I have ordered my adsl so should be in by January. If not iam just going to stop the debit orders
 
I hope you actually taken time to read wimax forums and seen the problems people are experiecing especially with regards to online applications and gaming on Screamer.

Sad thing is that their network has spare capacity after hours but they don't make it available to their customers.
