My contract expires early 2008, when will the Nokia N82 be available in SA.
or do I go for the HTC Range. I am basically loving for a big screen phone with all the apps and techs.

I'd highly recommend you getting an HTC..
everything depends on your taste and style....

I'm a nokia Fan, but personally I think now i should change my image and style that I use to connect to the outisde world :P

That's the thing I am too a Nokia fan and love keeping up with the new model, but that HTC's are somethig else.Nokia will release their PDA style phones very soon.

I'm sure the n82 is here already... Seen lots of contracts with one.

The N95 and HTC TytnII are very different but for every day use on the fly, smsing, phone calls, taking the odd pic the N95 is the one. If you looking for a laptop in a phone then the TytnII.

I have both a Tytn and N95 and I use my Tytn when I don't have access to my laptop but other than that it's the N95...

This is indeed rather irritating. Could we try and keep this thread active as I'd love to know when the first units arrive and where they are available.

My contract expired 3 months ago and I was waiting for the SE K850i but I've since decided to go with the N82.

Good choice.
I'm still battling to make my mind up, the more I read about HTC touch or HTC TytnII the more I want, but the N82 is constantly on my mine, it makes me feel like I'm unfaithful.

I am also waiting for the Nokia N82. One problem with Nokia's is their dictionary for predictive text has very little memory. Words programmed in get overwritten very quickly. Anyone found that?

yeah. must be a fix for that somewhere....

I can't wait anymore, I will most likely get me one of the HTC units.
