Well I learnt two new things today. I learnt about beards thanks to EMAM and I learnt that a papaya in Cuba is not just a fruit :crylaugh:

I do, I dont get the name choice. It seems to be in contradiction with her profile description and what shes posted so I'd be interested in the reference if there is any.

Ey? Name choice has no relevance??? It was available, so I used it - without much thought. How does it contradict my profile-one which I've yet to officially create because I'm in no mood to actually fire up the laptop - I'm on holiday mode :)

What's with this Friday build up situation?

Still haven't conquered the multiple quote and reply thing but will learn in due course.

Here's a current debate for you all to ponder ... of the following, what is the older profession ... prostitution or security?

I was refering to your dating profile you posted earlier. But thanks I guess its a bit weird that you randomly think of papayas but to each their own. ;)

Fridays are normally anything goes with a weird thread for the week so if this makes the cut you're in for a good ride.

The oldest profession is sales. No matter what it is papayas or hitting people with a stick if you can trade it for money you've made a sale.

It's actually only because paw-paw (as we call them in s.a.) was not a known term in the UK - where I spent most of my adult life. Like passion fruit as apposed to Granadilla...

Sales. Yes. That's a vague term. Prostitution and or security was first. Which one? Million Dollar question.

No. Actually I haven't. seriously man, I signed up to this forum last minute dot com.

Maybe it was because I, for a moment, mourned my 'miniature' papaya seeds that I smuggled from the UK, bought off eBay, from the U.S. into South Africa, and thereafter murdered in South African soil.

I missed paw-paw a lot. And I also missed hibiscus plants - I left those with a friend though.
