you could get a lenovo Y510 which has face recognition software. and has nice features too. and you can get them for around 10k from incredible, so expect them to have a cheaper price tag from other places

AFAIK, yes, unless I was lied to. The build quality of the notebook isn't amazing, and it's only a Celeron. But it's a Conroe Celeron, so it can't be ALL bad

Cleared, yes... But if you walk into a store and pay by cheque, you want to leave the store with your goods... You don't want to sit and wait for clearance. And it's a big risk for a business to accept a cheque from a person they don't do regular business with
