Does anyone know where I can buy Dear Esther?

OR if it's even available in South Africa?

I'm really in the mood for a great story and this seems like my kinda game:)

I'd like a solid copy of the game

otherwise (Im just gonna be honest with you) I'd just download it (the evil way... without paying)

What the **** dude. It's an indie game. The devs are teaming up with the guys from amnesia to make a sequel to amnesia as well.

Don't be a **** now.

Well okay two things... selective piracy is stupid, please get off your high horses.

Secondly I didn't say that I was going to pirate it I said I'd pirate it rather than use steam but over and above that I want a hard copy of the game and please tell me how having the game in a case is a sick obsession.

If it isn't available I'll wait, perhaps get Sonic Generations. OR maybe I'll just pirate Generations 'cause it isn't created by an indie studio and that makes it fine... idiots.

No. Just makes it worse. For an indie every single sale matters. They don't have a big publisher giving them millions of dollars to make a game.

Pirating an idie game is just very wrong.

It's on Steam. Get it there.

That doesn't make sense but I know what you meant to say.

Publishers don't keep studios whose games don't sell but I'm guessing in this flawed logic that doesn't matter.

Anyway I'd just like to know whether I'll be able to find the game anywhere... in a store.

I doubt it. It's an indie game. I doubt any publisher will contact them as it is a very niche game.

Here, I'll make it easy for you.

Well I've been convinced that Steam isn't all that bad but I think I'll pass on the game for now

Thanks for the help guys

Purchase and download/install via Steam. Use the Steam Backup feature to create a disk. Voila, physical copy.

I think you can get a free version on desura

Though you may just as well watch a youtube video of someone playing it.
