Only 2 bars fruity

While I prefer Seattle (Don't tell the Vida guys I said that)

I usually go to Vida, since it's closer to where I shop, and they seem to have more outlets.

I went to seattle the other day, tapped my card on the speedpoint then walked away, only for the cashier to call me back to point out that the speedpoint requires a tip amount before I can finalize the transaction. WHat the hell, I am paying R40 for 250ml of coffee and now I am required to tip too. This country is turning into America slowly but surely.
you can always select 0

Its irritating but just something to get used to.

I always try to tip the staff, at least if they're doing a good job. They're not the ones getting all the money.

My local Vida has an amazing crew working there, I'd feel bad not tipping them.
I think for those of us not paying cash - it gives us a way to easily give a tip

I only order grande cappuccinos, so it's around R42 a cup.

I go with my dad every Saturday, and sometimes in the week (coffee only), so less than R350 a week (incl. food)
Latter is great but for myself a diy mug works out at about R15. Freshly ground -> chemex -> 2x mugs.

I saw that a seattle popped up at the new siding centre. Had ground two weekends ago and it was a bit of a let down as per usual ( commercial ).
I liked Ground when I tried it. It was very good indeed.
Seattle (Caffe Mocha FTW) is what I buy myself when I'm out doing the huge monthly shop or need to do a long travel.

But then again I'm not all that much of a coffee snob though. Alta Rica / Nescafe Black Roast is fine. Even Ricoffy does the job in a pinch.

I actually typo'd. I have enjoyed ground in the past (both brands) but the previous one was not as good as it usually is. I've been wanting to try a caffe Mocha for a while now...

I only tip for sit down service, But now lets say you have a coffee addiction like most do, You buy coffee 5 times a week, are you tipping everyday?
