Hey all. This is my first post in this thread. I'm relieved so many of you are playing/trying to play WOW which is a great game. I've been playing for 2 years now (since release) BUT I'm in the States which makes it easier. Don't fret I'm 100% South African.

Seriously though I have two points to make:
Stormrage is a good server but far from what you guys should be looking for. Really guys, get on a PVP server and you will never look back.:D

Secondly I'm a happy Hordie for life. I tried Alliance but there are way too many douches and as far as characters, Allies are a bit bland. I'm not advocating you join Horde (some still view them as the evil race???) but overall you get a better experience with much friendlier people and great teams.

If any of you need help joining, just PM me because there are a number of options for SA players. Heck even jump over to my realm (Eredar) and I'll help you throughout (as well as my Guildies who are all 70s).

I've been playing for 2 years now (since release)

1. Once again, WoW was released 3 years ago.

2. PvP/PvE is a matter of personal preference

3. Alliance/Horde is a matter of personal preference. It differs from battlegroup to battlegroup

4. You and your guildies are not gonna help me lvl from 1 - 70. fact.

5. Stop touting your realm/guild around every corner with a copy/paste job. If I can find a bunch of friends to play with I'll even go play on Korean servers.

1. Getting it in January would still be considered a release window right?

2. Freedom of speech

3. Freedom of speech

4. Freedom of.... No wait, in fact my guildies help me all the way. Any bitchass quest or any instance (even outlands) they helped me. Fact.

5. That's why I created my own thread. But instead of bashing people, please just be supportive. Its a suggestion, I'm all about making friends not enemies.

Kilrogg EU - 1 Alliance Druid and 1 Horde Rogue

Kilrogg has a nice number of South African people on it as well. Use to be in a guild with I think 8 SA people in it :)

Both on the same server

AFAIK you can't have a Horde and an Alliance char on one server

hehe yeh... i was again kinda surprised when on a pvp server I wanted to make a alliance char and said i couldn't... PvE is more for me anyways :)

No way ;)

The allies run around to freely on a PvE server, on PvP. That is the real WoW game - Kill or be Killed :D

I guess it can be fun. But when I started I joined a PvE server cause my buddy was on it :)

So far I've played pretty much exclusively on EU Sylvanas, Alliance side.
So far I've got a hunter, druid, & priest at 70, and a rogue fast catching up, with the rest of my character slots taken up by lowbie alts that haven't made it out of the 20's. My lvl 20 lock may be the next to be levelled though, after I have the rogue to 70 & with at least a chunk of her D3 set.
