What a day on the JSE today.....

After being downgraded again, and we are now just above a "junk" rating ... From stable to negative.

Where are we going ?

Will we be like Zim in 10 years ?

Nah, 3 weeks we'll surrender to Zim and we will all learn to worship all might Bob.

Rubbish.... that looks suspiciously like Science there, and we all know Science is from Satan trying to lure as all away from the true gospel.

Lies, can't you see Thor back there moving the world with this hammer?

Thor?

You heathen! Thor is merely a propaganda tool by those "Scientists" to try convince people that they aren't Satans children..

Credit rating: unchanged.
Outlook: downgraded to negative.

Outlooks are revised, credit ratings are upgrade/downgraded.

Ok ... so the JSE dropped today by 2.3% because of the revised outlooks.

So if a downgrade happens, can I expect 10% drop then in the JSE ?

See where I am going .... worse things to come ! Was today only a sign ...

If its get downgraded to junk I'd expect more like 20% actually.

Still not entirely sure where you're going with this though...

Well, where I am going .... its lovely in SA ... think 2016 will be even more peaches as 2015 was ! :)

Thanks for your replies HavocXphere ! ;)

In short ... is this the start of what happened in 2008 .... Apparently we missed the recession in 2015 ... but not so lucky in 2016

We have reached the tipping point. We no longer have the resources boom to compensate for the poor management of the economy.

The middle class is going to get pressured out of existance and the poor are getting more dissatisfied.

Our universities are burning and I don't think they can stay globally competetive after the ANC crumbled to the terrorists demands to freeze fee increases.

That's all folks.
