where to get a cheap 2tb drive in pta?

HI, i am urgently looking for a 2tb drive, where can i get one asap, the best price i can find is matrix warehouse for R900, The Prophecy shop has a few at the R800 mark but everything is out of stock, and besides that i kinda need it today
Any Recommendations?, or should i hold my breath and buy the 2tb Samsung for R900?
 
hi fi corp has a 2TB LG external for 899.
and makro was selling a 1TB toshiba for 499- so they must have a decent price on 2TB also.

Esquire is flogging the Samsung 2TB for R599 atm, IIRC. Check the hardware specials forum for details. I don't see you finding much cheaper.

Only if you have an account. And 599+14%vat is what you will be paying in the end...
 
You can also try CSSI in Midrand - they have WD drives and I've used them quite a bit for a few years now. They are also using BoB and are legit. If you want a contact there, PM me.
The last couple of WD 2TB 7200 Green drives I got from them were R740 incl. each.
 
Im not sure if its still up, but I bought an external 2TB HDD from Dion Wired last weekend for R700. Hope it helps.
 
Which model was that? R700 is definitely the best price that I've seen for a 2TB external. They did have a Western Digital 2TB external going for R899 a little while ago.
 
Yea think it was a Western Digital, it was a special. So doubt you can still pick it up for R700.
