WHICH ADSL ROUTER?

I've been using Telkom's Mega 200 VWR for some time and I need to upgrade to something affordable - which router do you suggest? The market is flooded with brands I know nothing about. My router is starting to lose connection every couple of hours and I have very little speed with my uTorrent. I've also upgraded to 4mb/s with MWeb and methinks the router is probably the source of speed/connection glitches. Please suggest something that works and has good ratings?
 
That modem/router is quite old. Problems with the network are often blamed unfairly on the modem, but you probably should upgrade.

First thing you should be asking is what is your needs and expectations. Then what is it exactly you are going to do with it. When you have clarified that then a proper answer can be given over which router has the most fanboys.

With the current OP I can say take my 5 year old linksys its all good :D
